Was verbindet uns mit Heimat? Oft sind es Gewürze und ihre Gerüche – ein einziger Duft genügt und wir sind zurück an einem Ort, in einem Moment, am Abendessenstisch von früher. Diese Erinnerungen wollen wir miteinander teilen: Wir kochen gemeinsam ein einfaches Gericht und während wir schnippeln, rühren und probieren, kommen wir ins Gespräch. Doch wir erzählen nicht einfach nur von uns selbst: Wir lernen dabei die vielfältigen Lebenswelten kennen, die diese Stadt zusammenbringen, und schaffen nebenbei neue gemeinsame Erinnerungen. What connects us to home? Often it’s spices and their aromas – a single scent is enough to transport us back to a place, a moment, the dinner table of our childhood. We want to share these memories with one another: We’ll cook a simple dish together, and as we chop, stir, and taste, we’ll start talking. But we won’t just be talking about ourselves: We’ll get to know the diverse worlds that this city brings together, and in the process, we’ll create new shared memories.
