Habt ihr Lust, Potsdams schönste Seiten mit Rad zu entdecken? Dann kommt mit uns zu unserer entspannten Fahrrad- und Sightseeing-Tages-Tour!

WO? Start und Ziel: Potsdam Hbf (S 7, RB 23, RE 1)
Unsere Tour ist etwa 17 km lang und führt quer durch die Potsdamer Innenstadt. Trotzdem sind wir fast immer im Grünen, denn Potsdam ist voller (Schloss-) Parks, in denen man viel entdecken kann. Daher ist viel Zeit eingeplant zum Fotografieren, Picknicken und Zuhören der (ganz nach euren Wünschen: mehr oder weniger ausführlichen) historischen Erklärungen von Elke.
Die Touren-Highlights sind:
– Park Babelsberg mit Matrosenhaus und Kleinem Schloss
– Schloss und Park Glienicke
– Glienicker Brücke – die „Agentenbrücke“
– Neuer Garten mit Schloss Cecilienhof
– ggf. Abstecher zum Belvedere auf dem Pfingstberg: Aussichtspunkt und idealer Platz für ein Picknick (dann auch: Potsdams „geheime Stadt“ und das KGB-Gefängnis)
– Russische Kolonie Alexandrowka
– Schloss und Park Sanssouci mit Neuem Palais und Chinesischem Haus
– Brandenburger Tor, Jägertor und Nauener Tor
– Holländisches Viertel
– Alter Markt und Nikolai-Kirche

Interesse, aber kein Fahrrad? (Hoffentlich) kein Problem! Vielleicht kann eine*r von uns dir ein Fahrrad ausleihen (gebt das ggf. bitte bei dem Link oben an).
Alternativ gibt es in Potsdam direkt am Hauptbahnhof eine Fahrrad-Verleihstation und die per App ausleihbaren Räder von nextbike.
Wie immer bei unseren Rad- und Wandertouren gilt: Teilnahme auf eigene Gefahr!
WO GENAU? Unser Treffpunkt ist direkt vor Potsdamer Bahnhof, direkt vor dem Ausgang zur Babelsberger Straße, dort an der Bushaltestelle „S Hauptbahnhof / Nord ILB“ der Linie 649: https://maps.app.goo.gl/eW9NnLUF7FjRpSu68)
(d.h. auf der Seite des Bahnhofs, wo es KEINE Straßenbahn-Haltestelle gibt)
Bitte sorgt gut für euch und bringt passende Kleidung (Regenjacke? Sonnenbrille?) sowie etwas zum Essen und Trinken mit. Für das gemeinsame Picknick bringen wir auf jeden Fall auch noch ein paar lecke Snacks für alle mit.

Would you like to discover Potsdam’s most beautiful sights by bike? Then join us on our relaxed cycling and sightseeing day tour!
WHEN? Sat. Juni 15th, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
WHERE? Start and finish: Potsdam Hbf (S 7, RB 23, RE 1)
Our tour is about 17 km long and takes us right through the historic center of Potsdam. Nevertheless, we cycle almost always in a green area, because Potsdam is full of (palace-) parks where you can discover many things. Therefore, there will be plenty of time to take photos, have a picnic and listen to Elke’s (as you like it: more or less detailed) historical explanations.
The tour high-lights are:
– Park Babelsberg with sailor’s house and Little Palace
– Palace and Park Glienicke
– Glienicker Bridge – die „bridge of spies“
– New Garden with Cecilienhof Palace
– Possibly a detour to the Belvedere on top of Pfingstberg: viewpoint and ideal place for a picnic (then also: Potsdam’s “secret city” and the KGB prison)
– Russian colony Alexandrowka
– Palace and Park Sanssouci with New Palais and Chinese House
– Brandenburg Gate, Hunter’s Gate and Nauen Gate
– Dutch Quarter
– Old Market and Nikolai-Church

Interested, but no bike? (Hopefully) no problem!
Maybe one of us can lend you a bike (please indicate this in the link above).
Alternatively, there is a bike rental station in Potsdam directly at the main station and nextbikes that can be rented via app.
As always with our cycling and hiking tours, participation is at your own risk!
Please take good care of yourselves and bring suitable clothing (rain jacket? sunglasses?) as well as something to eat and drink. We will definitely bring some tasty snacks for everyone for the picnic.
WHERE EXACTLY? Our meeting point is directly in front of Potsdam main station, right in front of the exit to Babelsberger Straße, there at the bus stop “S Hauptbahnhof / Nord ILB” of line 649: https://maps.app.goo.gl/eW9NnLUF7FjRpSu68)
(i.e. on that side of the station where there is NO streetcar-stop)
